I went through two Amazon choppers before this. First one: "stainless steel" blades that rusted in 3 weeks. Second one: pressed a raw sweet potato through the dicer and the plastic frame cracked like an egg.
This set? The blades have real weight to them. I've diced onions, carrots, sweet potatoes, even semi-frozen chicken breast for stir-fry. No jamming. No cracking. The steel is still spotless after a month of daily use. My old knife block is collecting dust.
If you've been burned by cheap choppers before — this is the one that restores your faith.

I almost didn't buy this because I pictured myself hunched over a sink with a tiny brush, poking tomato seeds out of 16 different blades for 45 minutes.
Reality: each blade cartridge pops out individually. Hot water rinse. Done in 30 seconds. The catch tray goes in the dishwasher. There are no weird crevices where food gets trapped and fossilizes. I use it daily now — because cleanup doesn't feel like punishment.
Whoever designed the detachable system deserves a raise.

I meal prep for a family of four every Sunday. Onions, peppers, carrots, zucchini, potatoes — the chopping alone ate up over an hour. My wrists ached. My knife skills are average at best, so half the cuts were uneven and cooked weird.
First Sunday with this 16-piece set: I diced everything in under 20 minutes. Uniform. Clean. The spiralizer blade gave me zucchini noodles for Wednesday's dinner and my kids actually ate them. My husband asked if I'd secretly taken a cooking class.
At this price point, it paid for itself in the first session. If you meal prep or cook daily, stop thinking about it.
