    Does it damage the door?

    No. The mounting hooks rest over the top of the door. No
    drilling, no nails, no screws into the door itself. It comes
    off clean.

    carry it straight to the washing machine - no need to
    unhook the whole unit from the door.

    Yes! The board hooks over the top of the door so it closes
    completely as normal. Works on most standard doors. Ifyour door frame is too thick, you can hang it anywhere
